Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Playturfy! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Playturfy mobile application ("App") and related services. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Playturfy, you confirm that:

• You are at least 13 years of age
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• You accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy

2. License to Use

Playturfy grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and update your account information as needed
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create, upload, or share through the App, including:

• Player names, photos, and information
• Team names, logos, and details
• Match data, statistics, and results
• Tournament information and fixtures

By uploading content to the App, you grant Playturfy a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving our services.

5. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the App, including but not limited to:

• Software code, design, and architecture
• Playturfy logo, branding, and trademarks
• App interface, graphics, and visual elements
• Documentation and user guides

are owned by Playturfy or our licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or branding without our prior written consent.

6. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services, including:

• Firebase (Google): For authentication, database, and storage
• Google Play Services: For app distribution

These services are governed by their own terms and conditions. We are not responsible for the availability, functionality, or policies of third-party services.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of data
• Warranties that defects will be corrected

We do not guarantee that the App will meet your requirements or that it will be compatible with all devices or operating systems.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PLAYTURFY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Damages resulting from unauthorized access to your account or data
• Damages caused by third-party services or content
• Damages arising from your use or inability to use the App

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Playturfy, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use or misuse of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another person or entity
• Content you upload or share through the App

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
• Extended periods of inactivity
• Technical or security reasons

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or deleting the App. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease, and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and notify you through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the App.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Playturfy operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.

13. Dispute Resolution

If you have any disputes or complaints, please contact us first at turfy.sports@gmail.com. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue amicably.

If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, you agree to submit to binding arbitration or mediation before pursuing legal action, where permitted by law.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Playturfy regarding your use of the App and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications, whether written or oral.
